Amitabh Saxena is a Lean and Six Sigma Master Black Belt, CPHQ, innovation, artificial intelligence, and project management consultant and trainer. He has over 28 years of experience as a quality professional in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, logistics, services, manufacturing, financial services, and IT sectors. He received training in Six Sigma from Exa University, Paris, and has implemented Six Sigma and Lean in more than 50 organizations across India, Britain, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
Prior to this, he worked as Vice President – Transformation with Deutsche Bank Group. He has held senior Six Sigma positions at Office Tiger- RR Donnelley (Vice President – Six Sigma), Marsk in Denmark, Exa in the UK, and KPMG (Head – Six Sigma Advisory Services) in India, and was also involved in Quality missions. Currently, Amitabh is the founder of Anexas Europe and advises on Lean, Six Sigma, and process excellence implementation at leading hospitals and healthcare providers in Asia.
Amitabh is a Lean and Six Sigma, innovation, artificial intelligence, and project management consultant and trainer with several years of experience in banking financial services, IT, healthcare, and manufacturing domains. After completing Chemical Engineering, Amitabh pursued an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. Following courses in Lean and Six Sigma from Exa University, Paris, he has worked with companies like Deutsche Bank, Bank Market, Riyad Bank, UAE Exchange, Technip France, SABIC, L&T, Infotech, Exa, ADNOC, and Office Tiger RR Donnelley, implementing successful Lean and Six Sigma initiatives in India, UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific, and many European countries.
As a Master Black Belt, Amitabh has guided over 600 improvement projects, trained over 1500 Black Belts and 5500 Green Belts, including over 100 doctors and healthcare professionals. He has also trained over 1000 middle and senior management personnel in Lean, Balanced Scorecard, ISO 9000, CMM, and statistical process control. He has spoken at six sigma summit conferences globally and nationally for hospitals management Asia, IQPC, Marks Evans, Indian Statistical Institute, NASCOM, NIQR, WCBF, and chaired major conferences on process excellence in India, UK, US, Middle East, Asia Pacific, and several European countries. Amitabh is also a jury member for World Hospital Management Asia Awards, North America Shared Services Process Excellence Awards, and Simbiosis Lean Six Sigma Process Excellence Awards.
Amitabh is a renowned advisor in the healthcare Six Sigma circle and has won several awards in Lean and Six Sigma domain. He has been honored with the Global Achievers Award for Excellence in Quality by the Economic Development Forum, Manipal Award for Excellence in Process Excellence Consulting, and Best Six Sigma Institute CEO in India by Brands Academy, among others.
