Amitabh founded Anexas, which is dedicated to lean and six sigma implementation in client organizations in services and manufacturing industries. Within a short period of time Anexas has expanded its activities in 6 countries with offices in UAE, Denmark, India and KSA. His group companies are Anexas Denmark (Copenhagen), Anexas FZE (UAE) and Anexas Middle East Management Consultancy LLC (Abu Dhbai) and Anexas Clearwave (Saudi Arabia).. As a Principal consultant, he himself is involved in implementing lean and Six Sigma in client organizations leading to productivity improvement. Some of his selected clients are : UAE Exchange, Bank Muscat, Siemens, Bharti-AXA General Insurance, Technip France, ADCO, ING Vysya Bank, etc. The full list is given in the Annexure.
He has personally trained more than 10,000 professionals worldwide in lean, six sigma and project management. Amitabh himself is an enthusiastic trainer and has personally trained more than 5000 professionals as Green Belts, Black Belts, Master Black Belts and Project Management Professionals over the period of 16 years. Responsible for conducting training and guiding six sigma projects.

December 2007 – August 2008 Head – Continuous Improvement, Riyad Bank, Riyadh, KSA

Responsible for conducting training and guiding six sigma projects in the bank. Successfully trained more than 50 employees as Yellow Blets, Green Belts and Black Belts. Completed 5 high impact projects.

Apr, 2006- Sep, 2007 Vice President – Transformation, Deutsche Bank (London and Bangalore)

Was responsible for transforming the processes to improve efficiency and resilience in Investment Banking Operations. Transitioned the financial processes from UK, US and Asia Pacific. Implemented Lean Six Sigma, identified the improvement projects (end to end), determined the baseline metrics and achieved the performance improvement and process efficiency targets. Headed a team of 5 Lean Black Belts and 20 Green Belts. For the first five months, was also responsible for operations of transitioned processes till the steady state was achieved.
Successfully transitioned 12 Securities Operations processes. Guided 14 process improvement projects leading to savings of Euros 4.8 million.

Set up and headed a team of 2 AVPs, 5 Quality Managers (Black Belts), 5 transition managers and 53 Quality Leads. Successfully completed more than 60 improvement projects leading to savings of 3 million USD.

Sep, 2003 – July, 2004 Master Black Belt, Six Sigma, AXA Insurance

The job responsibilities included supervising team of 2 Black Belts and 30 Green Belts, guiding Black Belt projects and other quality initiatives, training Black Belts, improving the processes in the AXA Life, UK using Six Sigma methodology. The projects included reducing the Turn Around Times of claims processes, Application form clean up, Commission Payment to Financial Analysts and Brokers, Customer retention, etc. leading to savings of 6 million Pounds.
